As cheesy as it sounds, my experience of this great restaurant was more like visiting family (who happen to be amazing cooks!), than visiting a restaurant for the first time! My wife, my four year old son and I were up from Birmingham visiting friends, and they had booked us in for dinner. As soon as we went in, it was the warmest welcome I have ever experienced when dining out. Every member of staff without exception went out of their way to cater to our every need, and treat us like royalty! I was particularly impressed by how much effort everyone made to engage with my son. It can often be difficult to keep him occupied but several members of staff constantly came up and chatted with him, showing him around and generally amusing him, which I thought was really lovely. When the food arrived, it was phenomenal, and the portion sizes were great. Even with my most critical head on I genuinely could not find a single thing to fault this great place on! I cannot stress enough how attentive and friendly the staff were though, and that was the best thing for me about the place. We will definitely be visiting again next time we our up!
